So sweet girl I've been wanting to get pictures of you using your mad dancing skills and got close today...just not the best through the windows.  Hope to get some more soon! Your recital is coming up in about a month and I can't wait to watch you preform.

Late Winter...photos and catch up

Dear Evalyn, 


So winter is always my least favorite time of year and it often lasts a few weeks longer than I really want it to.  Here in Washington it's not pretty white fields of snow it's rain, gray skies and windy days.  It's not enjoyable at all.  


That said you have had a great couple of months. Potty training has begun and you are totally confused by the process and your mama is totally overwhelmed but each day we get closer to being free of diapers and on to fun days of less baggage.  


You are still enjoying ballet.  

We have had lots of fun just hanging out too!

We both love having fun snuggling together with you too.  Daddy and I are so happy getting loveys from you.

You had a few firsts recently too...

you got your nails done!

A sweet tea party for Noelle's birthday.

And a special valentine's dinner.

Like most winters you weren't always feeling good.  Colds are evil and you get them often.  Colds lead to you sleeping a lot and in funny locations.  hehehehe...I love the one of you half out of bed.

And thankfully we got a few sunny days too.  Otherwise this Mama would be going crazy!


Our life isn't always perfect but boy do we have fun! 


Love you baby girl, keep growing and learning and moving forward...even when your mama wishes you stay little a bit longer.

January 2012 in Pictures

Dear Evalyn,


So the first part of 2012 has been amazing for you.  Painting supplies that you got for Christmas from your Uncle John and Auntie Joni were put to great use.

Daddies sore muscles were worked out in the living room while you copied his every move and moaned and groaned right along with him.  Playdough is always fun!

You started this...Cheese!

I love this picture of you.  Innocent and sweet and oh so Evalyn.

You have found the love of Carebears.  After rigging you up a baby carrier out of one of our T-shirt scarves you spent the day carrying them everywhere!

And then the true excitement...SNOW!

We got a total of 10 inches over a week. We both had a bit of cabin fever by the end and wanted out of the house.  We spent plenty of time playing in it but it's not the same as going somewhere, sharing a "coffee", and doing a bit of shopping.  You really did love it while it lasted. 

 

 

 

 

 

The best part of 2012 so far has to be Ballet!
You look so amazingly beautiful in your leotard and little slippers.
